Discounting a Product
Discount means a reduction in the normal cost of an item. Discounts may be given for single item, bulk quantities and in other special situations.
Sometimes, you may need to discount a product you’ve added to the sale. You can apply a discount in three ways:
Item Discount: Discount placed directly onto the particular item.
Order Discount: Discount placed onto the order as a whole item.
Special Discount: Discount placed at the time of payment.
Item Discount
- To perform a item discount, add product to the sale
- Click on a product in the sale
- Then click ‘Item Discount’ button, it shows pop up window
- Discounts can be either a fixed amount or a percentage, such as ‘10%’.
Order Discount
- To perform a order discount, add product to the sale
- Click on a product in the sale
- Then click “Order Discount” button, it shows pop up window
- Discounts can be either a fixed amount or a percentage, such as ‘10%’.
Special Discount
- Discount placed at the time of payment
- Add product to the sale
- Click ‘Pay’ button, The payment window will open
- Type the discount amount in the special discount field.
